Näyttely #81 – Mökki

20.5.–6.8.2022

Mökki, tuo meille kaikille tuttu käsite, kesäkoti, rakas paikka, olotila – tunne. Koti luonnon syleilyssä.

The cottage, or mökki, in Finnish, is a concept familiar to us all; a summer home, a dear place, a feeling of being. A home in the embrace of nature. A place where to calm down. Our summer exhibition features natural materials, handmade household items as well as artwork that has been born out of complete silence and the everyday simplicity of our summer homes. At the heart of the exhibition is the Lastut summer kitchen, designed by Hanni Koroma, around which the whole exhibition is intertwined.
