Mirella Salo
Mirella Salo (b. 1995) is a visual artist based in Helsinki, currently completing her master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki. Her work is a field study of colours, shapes and details, where painting, both as a material and as a practice, serves as the basis for a continuous process. She works on the observations she finds by repeating, modifying and arranging them. Salo’s works have been in several exhibitions in different parts of Finland.
