Satumetsä (Enchanted Forest) is a playful and a little quirky interpretation of the traditional Finnish fairytales. Celebrating with colour and joy during the darkest months of the year, the group exhibition combines textile, ceramic, glass, and photography art, as well as design.

“For me, painting faces is a relaxing form of play; it allows me to depict a person in a kind of in-between state — listening, observing from the sidelines, surprised or bewildered, slightly hazy, or conflicted. Beyond control, out of the public gaze, not performing. I believe that in these undefined moments, a person reveals their most interesting self. For we are never just one.”
