Aino Tillonen

Aino Tillonen (b. 2001) is a Helsinki-based visual artist who works primarily in painting. In her recent works, she has addressed the themes of seeing, not seeing, and hiding, which she approaches through figurative images and sculptural painted objects. Questions about shell, shelter, and home also serve as starting points for her thinking. Tillonen is currently completing her master’s studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki.
