All objects have an energy or spirit – and this of course implies objects of use, just as much as it is an inherent aspect of artwork. Art is a way of inhabiting existence, it is a state of being in its own right. Our homes can reflect something of that state; they are places that nourish us in the most instinctive of ways.
Lokal’s spring exhibition spans over the entire transition of the seasons, bookmarked by a metamorphosis around the Spring Equinox. This spring salon brings together a multitude of materials such as paper, fibreglass, wood, ceramics, watercolour, oil paint, textile and glass.
