Kati Ruohomäki

Kati Ruohomäki works with painting and installation. She is interested in the coexistence of the visible and the invisible; their opposition and similarity. She uses various materials in her paintings, often exhibiting them close or on top of each other, and combined with sculptural elements.

Ruohomäki has studied both painting and time and space arts, and she holds a master’s degree in Fine Arts (KuM, 2006). In addition to making art, she also reads astrological charts.
