Mari Isopahkala
Mari Isopahkala is a Finnish product designer and winner of several awards such as the 2011 Muoto Award, the 2012 Nova Nordic Designer award, and Finland’s Young Designer of the year award, 2013. Recently, she has been working extensively with lights and glass. Her international fame is largely thanks to her jewellery collections, Winter Pearl and Suma for Lapponia Jewelry, as well as the cutlery series, Konkkaronkka which was developed for Marimekko. Isopahkala’s works have been exhibited extensively in Europe, Asia and the United States. She currently lives and works in Helsinki, and likes to design beautiful and meaningful products with soul.
