Kati Ruohomäki

Kati Ruohomäki’s (b. 1978) artistic practice focuses on painting, text works and small publications. She is interested in the parallel existence of the low / lowly / base and the high / sublime / devout, and the invisible next to the tangible. The basis of Ruohomäki’s expression is in the diving into the esoteric throughout her whole adult life, as well as in communication from that which springs from the backroom of thoughts. In addition to visual arts degrees (MA), she has also done astrology studies.
