Ari Pelkonen (b. 1978 Pori) is a visual artist and printmaker living and working in Helsinki. Pelkonen graduated from the Turku Art Academy with a BA in fine arts in 2004 and from the Academy of Fine Arts with an MA in fine arts in 2007. Pelkonen’s artistic works is strongly linked to the field of printmaking. In Pelkonen’s work traditional relief printing techniques, painting, moving image and three-dimensionality are all ways to study the field of printed art and printmaking.
