Mira Vornanen (b. 1990) is a visual artist and gardener from Helsinki. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki with a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2024 and from the Turku Academy of Arts degree in 2018. In her works, she explores her relationship with the world around her through photography and graphic art. Nature and plants, their colours, shapes and different materials are a great source of inspiration for Mira.
“In the artistic process, the world I see and experience takes on new forms. When photographing, wholes and stories are formed by combining images. The process of printing fine art graphics is like a game, where something new and undefined is created by the pressure of the press from the printing plate, ink and paper.”
