Arni Aromaa

Arni Aromaa is an industrial designer who’s been running a studio in Helsinki since 1996. He has won numerous design awards including the Finnish State Prize for Design in 2012. As well as industrial design, he has a passion for sculpting and ceramics. Lately, he has been exploring the possibilities to combine ceramics with glass through the wood firing process. Magic Ponds are a result of these explorations. The pressed ceramic parts combined with the molten coloured glass, result in expressive wall sculptures.
